I make this all the time. The only difference is that I boil the sausage first(easier to cut them this way ) and I cut them on a angle. It's an easy and delicious meal

You never add garlic in the beginning because it will burn. Always add garlic at the end and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Wonderful and delicious recipe. I generally sub the butter for EVOO which makes it taste slightly better in my personal opinion, but YMMV.

Just make Italian sausage burgers and then add sauteed green peppers and onions on top in homemade buns (or store-bought).
