That last line just absolutely hit me... 😭
"It's your life, burn your dread."
So simple, but to me it really emphasizes how you have the choice to make your life how you want it to be, but the only way to truly live the life you want is to take action in spite of your fears and doubts aka "burn your dread."

Its always a goosebump moment when they drop "burn your dread" lines in a persona song and tis is a prime example.

I think this song does a fantastic job if we consider it a culmination of P3 as a whole. It’s got the old vibes and the old style of music and lyrics, mixed with the P3 anime opening style too.
They should really make OPs with the lyrics included as well. It fits in with the animation so well.

God, the lyrics in this one are hitting me hard. Might be my favorite Persona opening ever. And the fact its a remix of Burn Your Dread? Iconic, can't get any better than this. So excited for the full game and full version!

I read somewhere that in 1:25 Lotus Juice actually says "Carpe Diem, no time to waste", and in 1:27 he says "you gotta let your life go, better Burn Your Dread", which actually makes much more sense.

I think I can swear by myself that this is the first time that the intro of a game makes me cry, even though I'm going to finish playing Persona 3 Fes, seeing the intro of the remake fills me with happiness, seeing all the characters . . together although I know All the chaos that happens in the story gives me goosebumps and makes me want to cry every time I listen to it and I have already listened to it about 30 times just the first hour that Atlus uploaded the intro,

I gotta say, I've seen a lot of people trying to figure out the lyrics (mostly on other uploads of the opening) and I think you are definitely the closest. Especially that "be bold and brave part", it sounds just like it. However, I think the second line after Thanatos appears sounds more like "All that matters is you need to know you were loved". This fits well with the theme of the song being about death, especially if you interpret the previous line as "Sometimes the journey is about each end". That's just my opinion though, it'll probably be a while till we know for certain.
