Skyler you made a very succinct clear video showing how to perform a drop pin link. I'm reading in the comments and it would seem that of course Google and technology has changed and so the maps that we'd be looking at now this is July 2019 that I'm commenting have changed but that isn't your fault that's still a brilliant video and I liked that you didn't waste time with a bunch of meaningless introduction and exclamation about what you're going to be teaching. Thank you very much. If you read this comment and it's Google dropped pin link has changed then go ahead and make a new video. It would be appreciated by all.

For those who simply wish to put a mark on a location and then send the url to someone, this requires 6 operations where right-click and "drop pin" should be enough...

Has this changed in the past 3 weeks? Google Maps doesn't look like this. There is no get directions or my places button

How can this person just have come out w/this video this yr and yet its the old Google map. They don't even have this kind any more. Everyone knows the old map was a lot easier to figure out than this new one. He needs to just totally take this down so it won't be found in the search results. SMH...

I appreciate the effort, but Google Maps doesn't have "my places" on my screen. "Your places" doesn't offer "create map, " and I'm giving up and looking for another source.

Clear as mud. Very frustrating. NOTHING on my screen looks like ANYTHING in the video. I've logged in. I go to Google Maps. There is no "My Places". The field of software documentation is a failure.
