Destiny 2 Lightfall - One of the Coolest Missions Bungie Have Made? Partition: Hard Reset Solo. Just a quick video showing one of the new missions in the post-campaign quests. Details below.

Look, I know the general sentiment towards Lightfall is on the extremely negative side at this stage, and probably rightfully so. There's quite a few things I didn't enjoy myself and was disappointed by. But, I still wanted to give credit where it was due: this mission was genuinely a surprise to see, and done well imo.

A lot of people wanted SRL back, and this mission is more or less that. I like the fast paced nature of it, and the race against time. It's not the most difficult, nor is it the most incredible thing ever. It's still very different from a lot of other content in the game though, and I just wanted to showcase that. I make it a point to rarely ever use titles like this (and will continue to do so), but I feel it was worth it to bring a little attention to a positive at this stage.

I've had 0 fun and the worst time I've ever experienced in Destiny playing as a solo player this expansion. This expansion has literally taken all of my excitement or faith in bungie away and I don't even want to play anymore.

This in a team of 3 was SUPER fun. I loved it and have been trying to get my friends to get that far in the story and side stuff to do it.

A easy tip: Run a blinding Gl. u can run past everything. Blind the enemies near the bomb and diffuse with zero troubles .

Personally I enjoyed playing through Lightfall a lot. The story was pretty touch and go especially at the end (wtf is the veil even???), but the gameplay itself felt great solo on legendary difficulty. Lots of enemies and intense combat on a big scale.

My biggest concern is the mod system - it seems incredibly simplified and dumbed down, and running around to collect orbs is annoying af.

Possibly the most frustrating mission in any game I've ever played and it gates other activities and missions afaics for the rest of the season.
Cannot understand why people love this sort of thing....

GG, I did this mission 30 Light under solo and it took me a very long time and nearly 40 deaths. Mostly me just falling off the map during the sparrow sections. But also me just not playing very smart.
You made it look very easy. Lol.

Everybody..watch this video back.. I spotted this today when I did this mission. Forgot to record or make it up to it before it disappeared. 1:06/1:07 there is a person on the pillar to the left. Someone who hasn’t done this yet, needs to get up there and see who that is!

The only problem i find with this mission is the lack of heavy ammo even for dps even with ammo finderr
