Elderado is not a Target Exclusive. Typewriter was considered overpriced when it came out July 2021 for $200 but both of these are nice picks.

Quick point. Before writing Harry Potter off as a theme, bear in mind that there's a TV series in the works. I could foresee this show will do very well (like Percy Jackson has) and renew interest in the theme.

The show isn't due until 2026 so it's impact on this set may be minimal, but I think the theme will have legs.

Lord of the rings has a nostalgic interest, with modern building techniques making for some great sets, but I don't see this as taking over from Potter. The LoTR TV show hasn't been well received and I don't see a lot of new interest in Lego as a result

I love the Typewriter. It's on my list of sets to target this year. I think the price point will keep a lot of people away.

I think I said this in another video but KDX, you need to return those Wish sets. Costco had them for $10. I left an entire pallet of them and am enjoying watching people that bought them try to offload them on local marketplaces.

Agree I'm not buying until at least May the 4th. It's been tough not to, but I've stuck to this so far. Was really tough seeing that Flower Store GWP sell out so fast and thinking did I make a mistake by not buying. I still think the answer is no. Just more money for those awesome sales at the end of the year, when you have even more data and info.

I'm still puzzled as to why some GWPs accumulate great interest and some other ones are very meh in value. Personally I like the houses of the world and I got all of them, but if they only bring in 20 a piece I might as well build 'm for display purposes.

Typewriter is like the piano, among the best sets ever made, will not be remade, combining great technic and brick build construction. It is fonctionnal, sort of, and so beautiful. Unique and perfect. I agree it's gonna cost 1k+ someday.
