Starring Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas, created by Anthony Yerkovich and produced by Michael Mann, "Miami Vice" focused on the Miami Police Department's vice squad and its efforts to end drug trafficking and prostitution. Centered on the unlikely partnership of Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs - who first meet when Tubbs is undercover in a drug cartel - the series ran for five seasons on NBC, from 1984 to 1990. I only bought season 3 of Miami vice just cause Helena did two guest stints on the show! She must have been very much in demand at the time to have had an entire episode dedicate pretty much to her!
