I like how mabel's fantasy scenes are almost more colourful than the rest of the show combined. Also the fact that she wears different clothes in each episode unlike most cartoon characters because her personality would never fit in the same outfit every day.

The problem, is that Pacifica was a bland character until the Northwest Manor episode. She was Mabel rival and that was it, nothing more deep. So when Northwest Manor episode came out, everybody realizes she can be more, had a redemption arc and being shipped with Dipper, but that episode came with the show already too advanced, when the Ford and Bill Cipher arc had priority

Maybe if Ford and weirdmaggedon were the ending in a season 3, we could have seen more of Pacific starting with the Northwest Manor in season 2
