Hello, this is Lockpicking Lawyer, and what i have for you today is a demonstration of how people who has limited knowledge about lockpicking easily bypass common locks. Granted, they do have specialized tools, but that does not excuse bad lock design.

The main benefit about lishi picks is they are a decoder as well. There are heaps of picks that work quicker and easier than lishi but the lishi 2 in 1 tools let you record the key code and cut a key without completely pulling the lock cylinder apart. Handy for a locksmith who has limited time on a daily basis.

I used to work with locksmiths a few years ago and the techs used lishis to not only open doors, but to also make copys of the keys, because you get the cuts on the thing.

The kicker is that we didn't have regular door lishis, we had car key lishis, so we could do emergency / mechanical only (no chip) copies of car door keys.

It was pretty cool.

The Lishi tools are the way to go for people who want instant results, and have an accommodating budget, but don't want to put in the time and work it takes to truely learn how to single-pin pick locks.
