I'm pretty sure you're supposed to cook the meat with the thermometer in it so you can monitor it as it's cooking.

I’m pissed with this company! It worked great while they provided service. They’re out of business now and my thermometer is note not connecting

I have yet to see a video where they cook something big enough to put the probe in properly. I bought this thing to leave in my smoker. But I’m doing chicken legs. How the hell do you insert that whole probe into a chicken leg?

I bought one of these and NEVER got the probe to connect to the charging dock. The app connects to the dock and the probe connects to the dock. What a POS.
