After lots of searching, I've finally found the best full-sized keyboards! None of those good-for-nothing compact keyboards (I still love them too).

Full-sized keyboards are big, and so is my lack of impulse control. Support my unhinged keyboard spending habits by clicking the affiliate links below:

As a software engineer I use a numpad and the insert, home, delete, end, page up/down keys all the time. Thank you for finally doing a full-sized video. Also A great full-sized keyboard that I found recently was the Redragon K689 PRO Wireless keyboard, I upgraded from a Razer Blackwidow v4 Pro and its so much better for so much less money.

FINALLY! A few years back, while everyone was raving about 75%/60% keyboards, I was on the hunt for a full-size wireless keyboard that was both solid and budget-friendly. Then I found the Redragon Dharma Pro (K556 Pro) and I've been using it for work ever since. Thanks for finally posting a video on full-size keyboards! I think it's time for me to upgrade.

I believe in full size keyboards. They are comfortable to lay on. I also like the shiny lights and tuna. PS: I am not a stray cat.

As I type this on a vintage IBM M5-2, manufactured in 1994. No Windows button, no audio buttons, but with a track ball and just a solid click of the keys.

Not having a gap between the arrow keys and the numpad is tough

I'm old school and a firm FULL-SIZE keyboard user. My last favorite keyboard was an old Keytronic "clicker". Unfortunately they don't make those any longer. I do a lot of CAD, data entry, and light coding. Things that are important to me are that the ARROW keys and INSERT | HOME | PgUp | DELETE | END | PgDn keys are in their traditional location and orientation, large ZERO key which you have mentioned, and a large BACKSPACE key. Compact keyboards and laptop keyboards leave me feeling like I have one hand tied behind my back. I hate searching for the delete key on a laptop or compact keyboard, especially in the dark. That is frustrating. Great video!

Thanks for showing the Big Boys of Keyboards some love!!
I like full-sized keebs for the numberpad. Especially since so many web sites use 2FA now. I have 3 Keychrons (C2, K10, K4).

I'll say if you're getting a full-sized keeb because you want a numberpad AND you can do 10-key by touch (I used to be an accountant), the 96% may not work for you. I stopped using my K4 (96%) b/c the numpad is JUST different enough to throw off my muscle memory.

I'm convinced companies gaslit the enthusiasts community into thinking full sized keyboards were ugly, so they could save on production costs. I don't know how we were convinced that some extra cush- I mean keys for the pushin wasn't beautiful. I LIKE A KEYBOARD WITH CURVES AND AN EXTREMELY PRACTICAL LAYOUT OF NUMBERS KEYS!

Finally full size keyboards, have to admit this is the first keyboard video i watched complete without skipping. There is just no use for small keybards for me. Even in games i sometimes remap things to the numpad.

I'm not the only one who loves full size noisy keyboards! I have two Unicomp keyboards based on the old IBM "clicky" key full size keyboard.

this one was for me. And I'm typing on a Keychron something. Love the full sized 10-key, and THE KNOB. I need them all. thank you Betty.

I tried a bunch of different keyboards and finally settled on the Keychron K10 Pro with the brown switches. It's one of the few keyboards that doesn't slow me down, and has excellent feel and feedback. I did change the keycaps because the ones that the keyboard comes with have rounded corners and I found my fingers bumping into other keys while typing. It's bluetooth or wired, MAC or Windows, and you can find it for under $90. If you like the feel of the old NMB click type keyboards, you'll be very happy with the K10 Pro.

Thanks to you I've been rocking my K2HE with a separate numpad for a few weeks now. Bought some affordable keycaps on AE and I couldn't be happier. I mean, it wasn't cheap by any means, like 250€ for everything after shipping, but I'd say it was worth it.

If you go with Keychron, make sure you get the pro version or you will not have the ability to remap keys. I bought the full size K10 and the print screen key doesn't work as it isn't really a print screen key. I wasn't aware that there were two different versions and made the false assumption that the standard version allowed key remapping. I had to buy a second one (pro version) to get a functional print screen and pause key.

I do data entry professionally & I was exclusive to full-size boards for a long time bc that numpad is vital. But last year I switched to an 80% + a dedicated numpad/calc hybrid & I don't think I'll ever go back. Having a mechanical calculator was a game changer at work.
