Xiegu X6100 Grinding on VFO knob - Demonstration

This is just a quick demonstration of the VFO knob with the Xiegu X6100. The foam piece between the Chassis and the VFO is causing friction which makes the knob feel gritty.

I feel this is important information in case you are considering purchasing a X6100. Please let me know if you should have any questions.

After seeing all your videos and Steve’s. It has made me realise how totally polished and tested the 705 is. I have not had a single bug or hiccup. Everything is perfect. The 705 runs faster than it needs to. Giving a flawless experience. But this radio does look very interesting. And I like how you are highlighting all the bad stuff and good stuff. With icom radios you very rarely get a new feature appear. With Chinese radios it’s a very common thing. Like the any tone range. Thanks for all the information. And I am looking forward to seeing if it runs Linux.

If the knob is easily removable, try replacing the foam with a piece of felt.
