Huge News: New Harry Theme And Logo 'In The Works'

I honestly can’t imagine the HP logo without the iconic lightning bolt. I suppose you could do different logo styles for each season/book, like the snake for Chamber of Secrets

John Williams (composer of Star Wars, Jaws, E.T., Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and so many more) composed the music for the first three HP films. The other films just didn't measure up, but...they always used Hedwig's Theme to open the films. Hedwig's Theme is just so very magical, it defines the HP universe. I, for one, would not be upset if they continued to use it.

I want the series to differentiate itself from the movies as much as possible. That way it can exist on its own and limit direct comparisons as much as possible. New Hogwarts. New Designs for all manner of things. I'm slightly woried about a new theme. But I would argue we are currently in a golden age of TV show themes. With the right Producer/ Composer. I could see lighting striking twice for a Harry Potter theme. But I hope they find creative ways to repurpose/ reimagine Hedwig’s Theme and other pieces in the series.

I'm excited to see what they come up with, I hope it's gonna be as magical as the original, it's understandable that some aren't happy about the changes, but I think this series deserves a chance and it's gonna get it, I'm sure, harry potter's still massively popular.

I really, really hope they don't change the theme music, Hedwig's theme just says Harry Potter. I also commend you on standing strong and doing what you love despite any backlash.

Why wouldn’t they keep the same logo? The iconic Harry Potter font is based off of the book covers, it’s not like it’s something the movies made. If they’re doing it based off of the books, then don’t make unnecessary changes.

I can understand them making a new soundtrack, but I think Hedwig’s theme should be kept.

Trust me, you will gain alot of subscribers in the coming months if you keep speaking your mind. The majority respects that and will therefore be even more drawn to your channel. You put up quality content, keep it up Dean! About the logo/music, i think they need to make it as different as possible so that they can stand out on their own. They need to be more accurate to the source material, i think that's the only way they will actually stand out.

I welcome the changes for a new generation. I will keep watching the videos you upload because I am so ready for the series to correct the mistakes made in the movies. I am listening to the audiobooks right now (I’m in the middle of Chamber of Secrets).

I will always remember the old themes and music from the first movies.

Yeah, count me as one that feels no need for a new theme. Almost guaranteed that it won't be as good and I love the immediate recognition when those first notes are played. It's like James Bond, Star Trek, or Star Wars, you want to hear those iconic themes playing. The logo I am less attached too, I can see that a new variation could be created.

It is s important to remain true to yourself. That's society's problem. Too many people are scared to stand up and say what they really think or how they really feel.
