Is this a young Roger Federer training on a wall (circa 1996 maybe?)

Common sense would tell you that in the early to mid I’d 90s camera resolutions were nowhere near this clear. Also, he is using a modern racquet

dude is using a pro staff from the late 2000s, definitely not a 90s tennis racquet, his thighs and legs are different as well as his haircut. Dude has the bottom half build of Berdych. Similar Federer strokes I’ll admit.

Amazing!! This is not Roger, but if I'm not wrong It's the tennis club where I learned to play tennis. This video bring me some childhood memories. I have no idea how you got the video, but thanks a lot for sharing on YT!!!

He hits his backhand further away from his body but the forehand looks identical except you move your left arm away slightly quicker than him. Great strokes tho

if it were recorded in '96, you wouldn't be able to see the wilson logo on the bag

Federer never has legs that fat. But the strokes are really quite similar. Am sure this fella is a very decent player

Not him. Though very very Federer, not gonna lie.

Why do we always do this. This kid has great stokes, no doubt an excellent player. Is he going to win twenty Slams? Probably not!! He probably won’t win one! Talent at 16 rarely translates to success on Tour. Roger lost a lot of matches in juniors to guys who never even made an ATP main draw.
