I had to replace the starter on my Colorado. It took me about 7 hours to do the job. The hardest thing to remove was the Chingadera

Remove driver side front tire and splash guard. Starter and solenoid can be seen through wheel well. May take trial and error with different length extensions to get the right fit. Back starter bolt cant be seen but can be touched. Maneuver starter out through the bottom of truck. Install new starter starting at the bottom of truck. 2 hour job for me. Im not a mechanic though. May be a lot faster this way for a lot of u guys.

When I look up how to replace stuff, this is the type of video I expect, excellent video!

I had to slow down the playback speed to keep from having a conniption.

That was awesome I didn't even have to replace a starter I just wanted to watch the video .

Slow down on the video, each step is important. I never done it before and it would be helpful if you explain how to remove it instead of fast video in how you do it.

If you play back the video at playback speed 0.25X sounds like he's nodding off on heroin while he's explaining funniest thing ever.

Thanks a lot for the video 💪🏼💪🏼🤞🏽

Really great video! Right to the point!

To all the haters…..slow down the playback speed.

That took 4 times longer than going through the wheel well and out the bottom.

Good video Hector 👍
Can you help me out? I’m just a DIY who started a few years ago, and ever since then I’ve been trying to figure where I can calibrate my torque wrench. I’ve contacted a few local companies, but they never email me back. Is it ‘cause I’m not a company/shop myself? What can you recommend?

It's like a 3hr. job to pull the intake manifold (9 bolts)😭

Life saver! A true blessing from above!
But you didn't put back that metal plate... in struggling to see how I put it back in 😅

Not trying to brag but I was able to change my starter perfectly after watching the video once and at 2x playback speed. Not a professional mechanic either. The chingadera was not a problem for me either.

That is a chingada. I have encountered this before, no fun. But pays well

Dude. Why would you have all the important parts in fast forward? It's frustrating as hell. Great video if you spent more time in each scene. Even playback speed 0.25 wasn't enough.
