And you were right -
Excellent screen / lightning fast performance/ terrific sound
Plus the great S Pen that I don’t have to charge!
I am mainly an iPad user and whenever I’ve used various Samsung tablets it’s usually been a mixed bag.
They have always had nice screens and good sound for movies and TV shows but the actual CPU performance and interface was usually much slower and clunkier than most iPads I’ve used .
This is the first one that I’ve used gets it all exactly RIGHT!

Writing this down on my S6 lite and it's a wonderful gadget to have for the price. Bought it as a reward 2 months ago after your review convinced me. I have been using it most of the time for entertainment and productivity. Put it on a Fintie brand casing that has a Bluetooth keyboard buy option and the experiences are so good that my laptop is collecting dust in the corner of the room.

Just grabbed one of these at Wal-Mart this morning. Got the 64 GB version for $249, which I think is a pretty good deal. I've had a number of tablets in the past, but last year I switched over to a Chromebook as it fit my needs better at the time. However, I've found that a lot of my Android apps don't play so well in Chrome OS, and it was pretty uncomfortable for using while laying in bed. Decided I wanted to add another tablet to the mix to supplement the Chromebook. Didn't need something high end, as this will only be for media consumption (digital comics/manga), browsing the web, YouTube, movies, etc., and looking around this fits my needs pretty well. While I still think my favorite tablet configuration I've had is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e (that had fantastic specs and was exactly what I was looking for at the time), this should tide me over for a while for what I'm planning to use it for.
