Y’all keep mentioning the ground looking uneven you can see it in the basin area of the San Fernando Valley from the earthquakes. When they build where there was once water the ground is loose and causes liquefaction which makes everything move.

Mexican sales guys are hilarious but bold. In Nogales once, I was wandering through a market area looking for my sister (we were shopping together) and a guy at one stall was all 'Come in here, pretty lady' and when I told him no that I was looking for my sister, he say 'oh, your sister, she is in here!' (she wasn't, of course, but points for trying, lol).
