Huge heavy buildings and highways being built on already unstable ground is really an issue. In my small Florida beach town they only allow 3 stories max, but all the big cities have huge highrises side by side all along the coast.I wasn't surprised at all that a huge highrise in Miami collapsed, I think it is just the first, but not the last.

As someone that’s from Indonesia, I can say that since the 2004 tsunami, the whole country might even sink. It might not be Jkt only.

It's always nice to make predictions over many years out. That way you don't have to offer an explanation in the meantime.

If they are sinking and flooding, why build skyscrapers on the coast

Wasn’t it the scientists, that told us we’d all die if we didn’t get a Covid shot?

Indonesia is building a new capital city in Kalimantan apparently due to the Jakarta sinking situation. Very soon there will be an exodus from Jakarta to the new city.

I notice that this program completely ignores the impact of placing billions of tons worth of steel and concrete on swamps and other soft soils/rock.

My childhood home built six feet from the ocean shoreline…over 60 years ago…during storms the well would fill up with sea water…still remains the same …🇨🇦…no rising water…wonder why?

Atlantis wasn't some advanced civilization... They were just too close to water... If they were so advanced and ahead of their time they would've been smart enough to know they were in a bad area

For Bangkok, it is important to note that the site was chosen for the capital BECAUSE it floods. When Bangkok became the new Thai capital in 1782, the flooding of the Chao Phraya alluvial basin was incorporated into Thai city planning and defense. It was a simple, time-proven strategy, so much so that two Thai capitals were founded on its Western bank, Krung Thonburi, and its Eastern bank, Krung Ratanakosin, aka Krung Thep, aka Bangkok.

I’m from la Riviera Maya, I remember that when I was little I used to walk in the beach, with more than a kilometer of sand, but know you can’t walk anymore, the water is almost touching the buildings.

I have been hearing about Miami going underwater since 1974 when I moved there. It’s still there. There is water under the earth. Read Genesis. Good luck ya all!

Having seen quite a few videos on YouTube about liquefaction and sinkholes, I don't ever hear climate changers talking about sinking earth instead of rising waters. Same effects but different causes.

I noticed that you mentioned pollution several times. What happens to the ocean if there is a major catastrophe in an area full of chemical pollution? Certainly the cities are endangered, but what about the oceans? What will heavy chemical pollution do to them? The last time I heard, we need the oceans to survive.
