We have the 2013 Avalon (Hybrid).  Was looking at getting the Touring trim level.  Tested the Limited w/ Tech package and was really blown away by the Dynamic Cruise control.  Think this is the neatest single feature of the car - of course to get it from the Touring have to pay almost $6k.

I have a 2014 Toyota Avalon Limited and it doesn't have radar range, I thought the limited would be fully equipped

A somewhat unique feature in Toyota is "DRL OFF". Honda and many others now have, "Forced Lighting". You CANNOT control lights. With Toyota, the driver has total control of the lighting. With other manufacturers, someone in Tokyo or Detroit has made that decision for you. It's nice to be able to turn off the Daytime Running Lights if you are waiting for someone at night or perhaps you go to a drive-in movie.

I think the front grill is, "too much" but I will get over it in order to have a proper light switch.

The Toyota navigation system as designed is dangerous. It requires the driver to do unnecessary maneuvering to get the vehicle stopped, and then back underway again. When you're driving in the left lane of the freeway in heavy traffic this is a dangerous prospect. When the passenger can type in an address while in motion, you are saving time, money, gasoline, and maybe, your life. I did consider purchasing a Hyundai simply because they do not lock out the passenger, (much better NAV too).

The correct way for Toyota to design the system is to detect if you have a passenger. The computer in the car already has this data.
