I have to say thank you from the bottom of my head for this video. So someone that has never ever worked on a car . After watching this video I refuse to pay the 450 for my dealership to do it. I went and bought the part from auto zone. Follow this video and did it. I had a really hard time un clipping it took me one hour but I felt so freaking happy knowing I was able to accomplish this in my own. So I had to come on here and say thank you so much

Thank you so much. The video was very informative. I was able to save hundreds of dollars thanks to you. I spent $108 on the sensor, and 30 minutes to change it. The dealership wanted $580 to do it. My wallet thanks you.

Thanks for the video I replaced my sensor yesterday, I have no mechanical background and I did it. For the people that have problems with the clip/bracket. The clip has a small space for a small flat head or knife to press in and then the clip slides off, remember to pull it upward towards you(Not from the bottom of the car). I hope this helps

Thank you for this video. I have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra and it just started giving me weird issues where it would stop running and when I turn it back on it would kind of sort of be running. It was very strange. Just ran a code checker and it came back with this crankshaft position sensor which is what regulates the fuel injector from what I'm reading. Kind of fits perfectly with the issue I've been having. Fix looks super easy!.

Just did this on my 2014 Kia Forte lx. Relatively straight forward, only thing to keep in mind is that in my car, the harness where you clip the end of the sensor was mounted more firmly on this weird double bracket. Took a while to figure out but from the top of the car, there’s a little round button on the sensor that goes into that bracket and slides in for a mount. I used the end of a thin Allen wrench to poke out the button and slide out the old sensor. Putting the new one in just involved sliding it in and it clicked into place. Thanks again!

I used this video to help me swap the sensor on a 2012 Elantra with my son. Initially, I bought an aftermarket sensor, which would work up to 4k RPM, which I drove on for the summer.

I had to take a road trip a few months ago, and I used this video again to swap to an OEM sensor that is now working perfectly.

On my second go around, I did not remove the plastic covers. It was a bit annoying, but certainly doable. All you need is a 10mm wrench. I did use the open end of a 19mm wrench to help lever out the old sensor, but it's not necessary.

I'm not good fixing cars but you made it look so easy that I have to at least try on my Elantra 2011-Thanks for the video!
