Always been a broke guy, two years ago I just started saving and saving. Right now I’m close to reaching 30k that’s a big milestone for me. Better late then never.

People think that saving money is just budgeting... But it's so much more than that. It's self control, discipline, figuring what is a need and what is a want, and most importantly, it's about independence and growth.

5 things to quit right now:

1. Overthinking
2. Trying to make everyone happy
3. Living in the past
4. Worrying
5. Doubting yourself

The fact that there is already an excessive amount of demand awaiting its absorption, despite how everyone is frightened and calling the crash, is another reason why it is less likely to occur that way. 2008 saw no one, at least not the broad public, making this forecast, as I'll explain below. The ownership rate was noted to have peaked in 2004 in the other comment. Having previously peaked in the second quarter of 2020, we are currently at the median level. Between 2008 and 2012, it dropped by 3%, and by the second quarter of 2020, it had dropped from 68 to 65.

I'm 33 and I started my journey to financial freedom two years ago. I'm closing in on my first $50k, and have been building a bit of momentum as of late. You've inspired me sir. I have a dream of being a home owner one day, and seeing your determination and accomplishments encourages me that it's possible. I will achieve my dream towards home ownership and financial freedom. If you're reading this, never give up. We can do this!

Getting the first 10k was a challenge for me. Then 20k then 50k now 100k. Your are right it's not a finish line. Just keep doing good things. And have a good core.

The first $100k is such an important milestone, it truly is, so huge congrats to you, Steve! Now we're just crossing the 500k mark which is also major and let me tell you, it's getting more and more exciting as we see the goal getting closer. Good luck to us all! FI will be here before we know it.

Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 15 months and l've accumulated over $700K in pure profits from DCA’ing into stocks, ETFs, dividends and futures. However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait.

The moment you stop thinking about your bank account, you think about enjoying your life and finding what you’re passionate about. And that will be able to make you more money.

😂 That intro skit killed me. So accurate. We get so caught up in our next milestones that we forget to celebrate our wins

After working at gas stations for few years, I bought my first property at the age of 19. I planned out everything. I thought I was going to be a millionaire soon. The following year (in 2007), the real estate got crashed and crushed me. 😂🤯 my property value went from 140k to 40k. While most of the people went through foreclosures, I managed to keep it by renting out my other room and then when it got so bad, I ended up renting out my living room too. $hit happens but the show must go on. In 2013 I bought another small property. Then in 2016, I bought another property. I only have a 2 year college degree. One of my goals were to take a mini retirement vacation. So I took two years off completely from work. Now I’m back to work. Am I rich? Hell no. Lol … but I enjoyed my life journey.

Money is the motivation so that it doesn't have to be. Beautifully said. I always say I am obsessed with this now so I never have to think of it again.

I’m so glad I found this channel! Steve is so articulate and thinks outside the box, his vids really get me thinking

I might have a hard time saving 100k considering I only work about 14 hrs a week. I might have to bite the bullet and increase my hours so I can save up
