Hi Kristen, I have been watching your posts for a while and you always have good practical advice. I have Panama, Mexico, and Cyprus on my radar. 2 of them because I Own properties and the third I may own soon too. I always wanted to be able to explore and experience different cultures and countries and having a base to operate from in 2 different parts of the world makes sense to me. Maybe I will add a 3rd so travel is a bit less taxing and it is always good to have income from those you are not living in at the time. Thanks for all the information and insights and keep posting great stuff!

Lyon or Nice, France is at the top of my list if I can find an affordable rental. Or Malaysia if they relax the retirement visa rules is a close second for home base with shoulder season trips to Europe.

Very good information! My first choice currently is Paraguay, and second choices are Dominican Republic or Belize. Still researching, and you have given me some resources I hadn't found yet. 🙂

HI Kristin, We're enjoying your videos regarding moving overseas and we're members of International Living, so congrats on the new gig! We're planning a 90-day "check it out visit": to Portugal (and a little in Spain) beginning mid-October. We think we're most interested in the less expensing, least touristy parts of the Algarve. I have a concern that my deteriorating eyesight might preclude me fro driving in the not too distant future so walkability and public transit have emerged as bigger issues than we had considered. We attended an online seminar of Portugal noyt too long ago. Is there a list of real estate agents and lawyers we might spend some time discussing the current market? Thanks again for your contribution to our research.
