Making customers apply for prepaid cards and closed shop without notice so not all cardholders can cash out. That's nasty.

This is just a tip of an iceberg. Wait till the tariff kicks in. Every sellers are going to leave.

“Some people have speculated that the CCP isn’t being entirely honest about the economy.” No! Really?! 😑

The older people remember what it was like to nearly starve to death as children.

Another example of the age old story that the Chinese never seem to learn, GREED DESTROYS

A city of 500k people can't support two hypermarkets? Something doesn't add up here. Maybe there's less people than she thinks?

Back in 2017-18, I had a friend who arrogantly praised China, saying it was doing great and proudly talking about the nine-dash line. They also bragged about how private enterprises were working closely with the government. Whenever you brought up the issue of China’s lies, they'd go on a rant, attacking you over WeChat.. Please be sure to fast forward to today. Do they still feel that proud of the CCP? It’s interesting how so many Chinese people living in the West continue to praise the CCP, talking about how great they’ve been treated and how much money they've received to study abroad. Meanwhile, they complain about Western governments, even though they benefit from living in the West. Strange, isn't it? When you're on holiday in China, the tour guides only take you to the places the CCP wants you to see—beautiful spots that make China look amazing. They’ll never show you the areas where people are struggling, protesting, or where the streets feel empty. Everything they show you is carefully curated to make you think China is so much better than the Western world. It’s all about shaping a certain image. Personally, I’ve never trusted a communist regime. Today, most of the friends I knew back in 2017-18, their WeChat accounts are no longer active. I hardly use WeChat myself anymore, and some of my posts have even been banned.

The same thing has happened here in America. Did they care about us? Look how many stores had shut down over here. I didn’t see them crying for us. It goes to show you how unfair they been with us. They don’t even want to negotiate a fair deal.

The blame goes to the CCP leadership. I pray that the Chinese people will someday have leaders that care about them.

Sort of suspicious that 1.4 billion Chinese isn't enough to keep these stores viable.

This really explains a lot. Too many people are trying to be entrepreneurs. Usually this happens when wages are unrealistically low.

Locusts swarms have been written as harbingers of doom in history records and still a terrible event because they take take take with no regard for the ecosystems limits.

I was watching another Chinese lady, lei, s real talk. On u tube. Title China’s Population is just a fraction of 1.4 billion. She says 4 to 500 million people have disappeared. So many videos of empty towns cities and rural areas. Very strange indeed.

The main reason things are slowing down is simple: fewer people.
• The population has dropped.
• The economy has to shrink to match the number of people left.
• A lot of past profit came from selling to the U.S.—that’s dried up.

With China pulling back from global trade, expect some rough years ahead.
