I drink a pot of coffee everyday, because the heart is a muscle.

And I train every muscle to failure 😎

This short could help a lot of people. Recognizing the signs of fatigue is crucial to long term health. Definitely sharing.

I quit ice-cream, takeaway, and alcohol and suddenly, my body decided to let go of all the excess fat it was carrying, and I stopped feeling mildly depressed ❤🎉

Speaking that intellectually with confidence in-front of the big man C Bum himself is truly impressive, you can tell he was literally learning from you the whole convo. Very good points made, I’m gonna consider a caffeine break myself

I am a rare lifelong athlete and weightlifter who has never had preworkout and has not had caffeine period since the 90s. Chris is right, when you don't have that crutch you put a lot more focus on root cause. For me that meant dialing in my diet, being properly hydrated, making sure I get rest, etc. As it is I can run circles around lifters half my age who are amped up on preworkout because my body has been trained for decades now to leverage natural energy.

31, one alcoholic drink my whole life, never had a coffee. Upsides: energy and sleep are great, and 99.5% people think I’m weird 👌

I’m basically 100 days no caffeine my energy is so much better, we become addicted to this stuff and think it’s helping us, but in reality it could be causing a lot of side effects your not noticing

I stopped drinking after my last relationship ended a year and a half ago. I feel great. I had one beer with some friends a few months back and I felt sick immediately and had a terrible sleep that night. I don't think I'll do that again.

Been without alcohol for several years, been off caffeine entirely for 1.5 years and have no intention of going back. Def worth it. Everything he is saying is absolutely spot on.

Anyone else feels soothed by the background noises of iron?

So many of the problems in this world derive from an inability deal with struggle or friction, on your own volition. But rather we seek for answers through external sources. Find it within yourselves to overcome and push past.

Right now 2 weeks off caffeine and the headaches went away, not as tired as before, first 1, 5 week i would be insanely tired at 3pm. But i gotta say i stay up to late during the evenings too so that might be why. But now im slowly starting to feel normal and i actually don't even think its hard anymore, i dont even feel the urge for coffee. I work out more than ever before too. One thing that has been harder is to Intermittent fast withiut coffee, but a strong mind beats a strong body 🔥

The alcohol one is spot on. No matter how much you can try to hide it or function with it, hangovers will always fuck you up for at least a couple days.

The people that can manage it usually have such a high tolerance of alcohol that it might be fine for them in the short term, but they'll eventually have irreversible health problems in the future.

I think people are also so out of touch with their recovery level. You can’t just train, train, train and expect to get optimal gains or even recover correctly. Youth and caffeine cover up the lack of recovery.

I stopped drinking coffee 2 years ago. It became an addiction I needed it to get through the day morning, lunch, dinner before bed coffee, coffee, coffee.

What about cacao powder in the morning for the nutrients & dark chocolate from time to time

I never consume caffeine except for the occassional soda or green tea. Still can't figure out why I feel tired all morning long every day.

I rarely drink alcohol except on a holiday, but coffee, one to two small cups in the morning, and I will never stop that under any circumstances. Coffee ☕️ is life itself.
