It's funny like nothing Heather Duke does is original. She acts like Heather Chandler and even uses the same insults, her theme is a reprise, and even the first line she says is not said firstly by her.

You know it sucks that this songis so short since it's probably the most brilliant due to the lyrics being a dark "Candy Store" and the fact that "Shine a Light" was supposed to help everyone but instead drove Heather Mac to want to kill herself. Also this isn't just how Heather Mac felt in her mind it's also how Heather Duke felt in her mind when Heather Chandler was in charge since she was always being told to shut up and probably felt the same way. It's amazing that they shoved so much into a thirty second reprise.
