THIS WAS MY FAVORITE SCENE IN THE HEATHERS MUSICAL

As a theater kid, don’t be too hard on the ensemble. I was a background character many times and understand what it’s like. They are overworked, they have to learn even more songs than the main characters and have to preform their own sections well. Also, I didn’t see any microphones, and most of the time we are pressed to be LOUDER. We would get yelled at if we sang really well but were too quiet. So the cast may be focusing too hard on the volume of their voices and not on the sections. It could also be that they are trying their best on the overall show. They are doing stage direction, quick changes, prop handling (most of the time), scene changes (depending on the stage crews numbers) and singing. Everyone is overworked here.
