Nice review. I think you've done a good job with the trade-offs of buying this versus a Tiguan. I picked up the mid-trim SE Fwd and enjoy it as my daily driver with 12000 miles logged. Enjoying it for what it is.

Save yourself some time and read the consumer reports on this car - absolutely shocking the amount of maintenance and major parts that had to be replaced under 5, 000 miles

Update! I tried the launch control of the 7 speed DCT on the Taos it works like charm, can't belive they advertise this vehicles as a 8.4 second 0-60 when in reality it can do 6.9 secons using regulat 87 gas when using launch control

Looking at a FWD SE. Live in a mild climate so I don't need the AWD and the fuel economy is a big draw and every review I've watched comments on the room (I'm pretty tall). I think this may be the perfect option for me.
