I'm not often stunned... but this AI vocal plugin is AMAZEBALLS!

That was only arranged after they saw the video and offered it as a 'thanks' - before anyone accuses it of being an infomercial!

How's this worked out for me? Sing or talk into the mic... and have *Mic Drop* audio vocal AI vst plugin turn you into one of a load of different characters.. or some instruments. It really is amazing. Use of for backing vocals, speech, demos ... its a game changer for me.

In this I give a true overview of how its been working. It can give stunning results, but everything isn't an instant classic. You have to work at it to get the results you need, tuning how you sing, and tuning your singing (its got an autotune built in). Its CPU heavy so you'll see I had a few issues trying to demo it while using it live and recording my screen plus recording audio on Garageband while viewing Logic.

... but the intro demo gives a lovely example of what's possible.

Honestly, I think it will sound 'amazeballs' soon enough but I find most of the voices are still fairly annoying. I'd much prefer to listen to your own voice. For how long though?

For a speed garage producer, trance, techno, uk garage whatever this is pretty great. Those of us that can sing a little bit anyway. Dont' have to search for clips now or ad libs. This can maybe be used instead. Thanks for bringing it to my attention I'll be demoing it for sure. Cheers.

Before playing, select a track that doesn't have the plugin, then hit play, now as the project is playing you can select the track with the plugin, change midi, open the plugin, change settings (etc) and there won't be any glitches. Also stop hitting solo on a track then un-soloing your previously solo'd tracks, you can simply hit alt-solo to solo a new track (and unsold the others) at the same time.

It depends on how often the public are actually listening to great, natural singing in the first place.
A 'great' vocal is getting more and more ' generically' processed every day.And hence these hybrid ones are going to be considered 'normal'.With that odd Uncanny Valley distortion.

Tried it for a day and the CPU usage made it impossible to use. I occasionally have CPU trouble with certain patches on Serum or Pigments, but this thing wouldn't come close to working for me - even on a new session with one track.

This is just the plug-in I was looking for. I was looking for a good sounding vocal generation plugin for backing or harmonising vocals. The ones I did see upto now where just quantity and being AI, had a subscription only model. Risky because of the expected lifetime of these cimpanies. But this is a one time €90 (its on sale right now) and you are go.

What CPU do you use? I use a Mac Studio M1 Max myself.
