How to Remove IP from Blacklist | Barracuda

In this video, I will show you how to check IP blacklist and remove IP from blacklist. IP could be blacklisted for many reason. If you broadcast spam or you have an infected PC, your IP could be blacklisted. When IP got blacklisted you can’t browse internet properly. So, many websites will not allow your IP to access their server and you ended up seeing the site can’t be displayed. Email server IP gets blacklisted is very common and when email server IP gets blacklisted, some of your email you send, may not be delivered. I am going to show you how you can check whether your IP is blacklisted and how you can remove IP from blacklist. I will check from a site where they check IP address against over 100 DNS based IP blacklist which commonly called Realtime blacklist, DNSBL or RBL.

Harvesting email addresses (aka scraping) or using DDos attacks (dictionary attacks) on a company can also get your IP blacklisted too. Not just your email domain blacklisted.

It is best to avoid web scraping at all costs but if you must scrape, you must contravent your original IP address so the blacklist company or companies do not see you as an Internet scraper (and eventually blacklist your IP) by using proxy IPs or changing your "user agents".
