Betaflight 4.3 full setup guide | From flash to flight

It's time to flash Betafalight 4.3 to your quad if you have not done it before. Yeap, it's not yet official but nightly builds seem to be safe enough to use it every day! In this tutorial we will go through the full process: getting the Configurator, nightly binaries, flashing, receiver, DSHOT, bidirectional DSHOT, mixer, modes, OSD, GPS, and other important aspects. And guess what, the whole Betaflight setup is getting simpler and faster with every release!

To backup whole config, use diff/dump with switch ALL. I use DUMP ALL to have a complete backup

Could you have used the diff all file to set the settings? Or does this give problems when using back-ups from 4.2 in version 4.3?

Greetings Pawel, you might want to blank out your latitude and longitude readings in your video at 00:08:55, because I used Google maps and it took me to a road in poland with a bus stop nearby. Hopefully you were just in a hotel when you recorded this video.

I too am using ghost. After flashing and using uart 3 on ports tab, choosing irc ghost on the receiver tab, I can't connect to drone from radio. Not sue why.

Betaflight 4.3 przestała pokazywać pole w OSD z video format co może być powodem? OSD zanikł całkiem w flywoo explorer :/ Wymieniłem popsuty VTX na dokładnie ten sam model, połączenia wykonane identycznie (zakładam że tu coś mogłem namieszać bo to po tym zaczęły się dziać kłopoty:/)

I've got problem with GPS on my new Rekon35 (M80 GPS). Plugged batteries but Betaflight "3D fix: False" without any satelites. I disconnected and went outside for 10minutes, still with 0 satellites. What I 've missed/been doing wrong?

I wasn't going to update all my kwads to 4.3 if I update to configurator to 10.8 can I still change and mess around with my kwads on 4.2 in config 10.8?
