My faforite song as a Russian kid growing up in early 80s amidst fertile deserts of Uzbekistan, former USSR.

Every Rolling Stones song that Brian Jones has been on is a treasure to me. I will never forget this musician. He is and will always be something special for me. RIP Brian...

Their first single - it opened up my ears, I was 15 years old, still at school, this made me want my own guitar, and also wonder who is 'Chuck Berry' ! Everything changed after that.

I remember hearing this song when I heard it at a friend's house back in 1965. I even had a tape recorder with me. I must have lost the tape which had the song on it when it got stolen when in college (1968-69). Liked it since I was a Stones fan back then.

I'm here because I am in the Mountain View, California, USA main library reading Bill Wyman's 2002 book, "Rolling With The Stones", page 60 where he talks about this recording.

I've loved this since 1963 when I was 11y/o! Funny thing is none of the stones liked it?

The Stones were one of the greatest bands. To me this is so tight and so great.

Is there anyone out there who saw them at the “Savoy Rooms”, Catford, 1964, I had just turned 16 years old.
Found myself standing next the Mick’s brother Chris.
Great memories, I have to say that when Brian died they seemed to loose something.

Best things here are Brian's harmonica and bill's bass

My Rolling Stones mini-LP 33 speed with 4 tracks bought in Buenos Aires 1965 featured Come On along with Satisfaction and two other tracks. Come On was my favourite and still is.

I was ten, and I got up early to go fishing. This must have come out the day before, and my brother had bought it. After spinning it about ten times ( remember leaving the arm up ? ) I realised the difference between pop music ( guess who ? ) and real music. I still went fishing, but my heart wasn't in it

Some correction must be made here: the release date of this single, was June 7th, 1963 and the bassplayer is Dick Taylor, who later that year formed his own band The Pretty Things, together with Phil May. He evolved as a great leadguitar player during his long standing career!
