What is an idiom?
An idiom is a set phrase, widely used, it should be understood as one whole, it has a particular meaning that you can hardly deduce from the meanings of the individual words. English is full of idiomatic expressions, but all languages have a wide range of idioms.
In this video, I would like to teach one idiomatic expression: bite the bullet. If you bite the bullet, you face a painful or unpleasant situation that you have been avoiding. You try to deal with a painful or unpleasant situation, accept the truth of a situation, force yourself to do something you dislike.
