TRANSCRIPT
Good morning and happy Monday! Do you know the name for this object? It is usually put into a gun and is expelled during shooting. It's called a "bullet",  and today's idiom is to "bite the bullet". Why would anybody want to bite the bullet and what does it mean? Well, it is said to have originated on the battlefield before the anesthetics, when a wounded soldier was given a bullet to bite, to cope with pain during medical procedures. In modern times, this idiom means to decide to do something, usually difficult or unpleasant, that you have been trying to avoid. For example, if you hate going to the dentist, maybe you just have to bite the bullet and do it, you'll feel better afterward.  Wishing you to have a wonderful day, and remember, bite the bullet and just do it. Bye-bye!
