I'd really like to see the BOM for this thing. $399US is suspiciously cheap for a good control system, let alone an entire machine. The use of L bracket for the axis also suggests that this is not a very rigid machine and will not be able to cut metal well (or actually cut anything harder than aluminum at all). I'm also curious what your "high performance" benchmark is set against, for reference.
