Chuck received a $399 Sienci Mill One CNC Machine kit to review. He takes you through some of the assembly issues he saw and how he fixed them and then shows you how to control it with EASEL software.
He takes you step by step through a simple project using EASEL with the Scienci Mill One CNC Router.

Thanks, Chuck. I hit that Patreon button. Not a lot but I know that every little bit helps. Thanks for all you do. I hope others will join in too. Merry Christmas to you and all the followers.

Oh man, I am really in doubt of what to do first. I want to go the route of CNC machining, but I also would love to buy a lasercutter with a bit of power, like 60W... Tough decision...

As a machinist part of me cringes with the idea of 3D printed load bearing parts on a machine like that but hey that is me! Do agree a bigger than the build area bed would be helpful for workholding. Will be watching this for sure.

A good video like always Chuck! But quick question? What type of grease did you use on the rods. Coming to almost a year of use on my CR-10 and was looking into getting some grease for the Z rod. Any advice as to the type of grease or any that you recommend?

Chuck you gotta get into fusion 360 man. I know it's more difficult, but the amount of options and controls is great. For 3d modeling and CAM it's a no brainier. With the machines and experience you have you would have not problem learning it.

Thanks Chuck, very interesting as always. One question, which router did you use?

The build area, is it wider than it is deep or deeper than it is wide? or more easily put, when looking at it front on, is it landscape or portrait?

If you love easel (grbl) and cnc check the root 3 cnc open source 3d printed cnc on thingiverse. I made one and absolutely love it :) and easel is truly a great tool. Miss the 2.5d (3d) options that fusion has but it's easy to use.

Hey, Great video again. I see your CR-10 in the background. I have a quick question about that, I recently purchased a CR-10 and I'm loving it so far. But, I keep getting blobs at each layer. I've tried many different retraction settings and I even went on the CR-10 facebook group but no luck. I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

$400 for some MDF and hardware? You not only have to assemble it and provide the router but also install the firmware? No thanks

Hi Chuck, Interesting: Small CNC Machine. Had not heard of it. BTW: Lately I cannot click on you Patreon "CHECK IT OUT" it takes me to where they want me to set Patreon up. Did they screw that up when they changed their policy?
