Not killing Jesse in the first or second season like they planned is the best correction this show has ever made.

Do you remember Walt having a two-day moral crisis about having to kill one guy? Jesus, what a character arc for him to get here.

So manipulative he said “all the people we killed ..Gale, and the rest” He purposely tries to guilt Jesse by saying gales name and calls his own kills “the rest”

"All the people we've killed... Gale, and the rest."

Walt is so transparent. He has killed so many people, but he only mentions Gale to manipulate Jesse. I'm glad he finally saw Walt for what he was.

Okay, Walt killing people in prison, poisoning a kid, making a drug empire, I can understand his reasons for doing these things. But insulting video games, he crossed the fucking line.

"But we're already pretty much going there." - An epic quote. Walt accepts the nature of what he's done and just doesn't care anymore. Walt's realized that him and Jessie are way past the point of no return.

0:50 the way Jesse is hurt by Walt using go-karts, a thing he wanted to to with him just to bond a little, to belittle him... Aaron Paul is a natural.

All the people that they killed:
Gale ☑️
The Rest ☑️

The amount of psychological harm this man caused Jesse is unbelievable

GALE... and the rest!

I love how the only person he names is the one person Jesse killed

This line really cracks me up:

"All the people that we've killed. GALE! ... and all the rest."

Deliberately pointing out the 1 direct kill from Jesse and glossing over the others.

The soft "Mr White" by Jesse at 0:51 shows just how hurt and surprised he is by Walt's sudden use of insults and anger towards him just because he wants to better himself. I think that was the last nice and respectful "Mr White" we get, and it dies with a whimper.

Remember. He was a teacher with morals and was citizen of the law. Now he's a drug lord and trying to manipulate a student he was supposed to inspire instead of forcing him to continue this path.

For me, this has always been one of the most pivotal scenes in the entire series. We get to see the divide between these two characters. Walt is no longer an innocent, cowardly man. And Jesse has finally developed into someone who can stand on his own, and willingly walk away from destructive behavior.

1:56 notice how Walt specifically mentions gale and refers to all the other people as “the rest” just to mess with Jesse emotionally. Such an evil character in season 5 lmao

I HATE that he mentions the go karts.

That scene where he asked Walter to go go karting with him was a serious cry for help, and here, Walt uses that to try and break him down even further. Ugh.

Walter in episodes 5x6, 5x7, and 5x8 was by far the scariest he was in the entire series. An absolute mad man.
