Could I use this to test a car headlight harness ?

It’s useless for dc as it just rounds off to the nearest volt without a decimal point. So if your battery is 12.60 the meter will say 13

Are the T5-600 and the T5-1000 identical, except for the fact that one is rated to 600 volts and the other rated to 1000 volts?
Does one of them have any different features than the other such as accuracy?

Uh, When you were measuring current you put the jaw around a conductor that was coiled three times... Wouldn't that cause the current reading to be Three times what it Actually is???? Thanks

Sure wish it would measure DC volts in Tenths. Love the form factor but not accurate enough for battery cell measurement.

oh now i see. the open jaw doesnt work on my fluke t5-1000. i thought i just had the wrong dial or something
