The black lead should be in the com (common) socket the red lead should be in the other sockets, not that it will make any difference with ac (alternating current) but with DC (direct current) you will be getting positive and negative mixed up. In any case what you are getting there is induced voltage fro the mains via capacitive and inductive coupling. Also never a good idea to connect yourself to the ground socket as there could be a fault in the system and you have mains voltage on the ground line because it has broken somewhere and you have a short to ground on some piece of equipment. Another thing bio electricity is DC.

I really like the way kept it simple enough for an average person to understand. The only thing I’d add is, the example you used is ONLY an accurate reading of your body voltage when around EMF. Test your body voltage further away from all AC currents. There’s still cell & radio disruption but it’s the best way to know your natural body voltage

Awesome, teaching my daughter about the human body. My dad taught me this but not explained simple as this. Thanks.

I though black cord is supposed to go to COM?

Ghost voltage. In fact my meter reads 3 V in LowZ mode. Problem is that when measuring voltages below 8 V the meter reverts to 10 M ohm impedance. Don't think you can draw any current from this. This is simply due to capacitive coupling of your body to ground and has no source of "power" behind it. Once the circuit it loaded the charges are drained and the party comes to an end.

🤔on my digital multimeter, red is plugged into the V-Ohm-Hz-%-Live-C/F hole and the black goes into COM.
Proper ground in the outlet should be tested first to ensure it works.

How would you test if you wanted to see how much you are getting when standing in the grass- barefoot.
I am curious to see if what many are saying is indeed true- our bodies gain electrons from the earth itself, saying the earth's surface is indeed electrically charged with electrons and your body will uptake them if there isn't a barrier in between . They say you pull electrons from the earth on grass, sand so long as your soles do not prevent it, like rubber soles- which are on pretty much every shoe nowadays. They equate many health problems because of this. Thank you.

The lead for the common port should be black, not red.

I guess if you are out and about the black wire goes straight into the earth?

Thank you, trying to test my tile floor to see if it’s good for grounding… live in a house with a concrete slab foundation.

Safe if your outlet is properly grounded.

Are you sure it is AC voltage? Can u make a video to measure the voltage of fruits, vegetables etc?
And how do we give extra voltage to any body organ?

You never clarified why you have connected the multimeter probes backwards🤔

have have a choice of v~ 200 or v~ 500 but on both of them it does not move I just get is 00.0. In either black to com or red to com both nothing
