Connecting a standard wireless QWERTY keyboard and mouse to my iPad transformed my workflow. From “spacebar” to stop and start transport, to all the other keyboard shortcuts (e.g. “X” to show the mixer in Logic), this made all the difference in terms of iOS music making and usability. Thanks for this great information! I’m using mine for connecting to projector and using my S1 pro Bluetooth external audio however audio isn’t splitting. Is there something you can recommend please. I’ve definitely connected Bluetooth from iPad to S1 pro! Scratching my head what I could have done wrong

I want to connect my M-Audio 32 midi keyboard to ipad and make some music. I have a scarlett 2i2 interface. Will this usb hub work alone for it? Or i need to purchase apple usb hub?

I got a similar hub with a longer cord, and it CAN be powered with a USB-c on the end slot or not. Works great with both my iPad and iPhone and Macbook!

Thanks Pete my husband got me the new iPad Pro m4 for Christmas and I made the mistake of buying a “no name” before seeing your video and it doesn’t power the iPad. Retuning and just ordered this one. And got on sale for literally a dollar more than the no name definitely a no brainer !!

Will this work with a 10 gen iPad? I have success with connecting my 10th generation iPad to my iRig for guitar via the ugreen usb-c to 3.5 mmm adaptor with power supply. I have tried connecting my Korg micro keyboard with an official apple usb- a to USB-C adapter with no success. I am suspecting I need that power adapter element.

No headphone My iPad doesn't have a headphone input so I need a dongle that does all this + has a headphone input. Is there a dongle that does all of this?

This adapter seems to support only 4K 30Hz video over HDMI. The iPad Pro M1, M2 and M4 are capable of 4K 60Hz HDR if the adapter supports it. The original Apple adapter outputs 4K 60Hz but no HDR. I use a Satechi adaper which is a bit similar style than this, but it has also SD and micro SD card readers (and only 2 USB-A-ports), but the HDMI outputs 4K 60Hz HDR to my Samsung 4K HDR miniled-monitor, with the extend screen option. Usually I have my digital multi-ch mixer (Zoom L-20) and either a USB midi keyboard controller or my separate multiport midi hub in the usb-a ports.

I'm trying to find something like this but I need two USB C ports. One for charging/power and one to plug in my piano keyboard to use with piano marvel and programs like that. I cant seem to find one. They all seem to have only one USB C port.
