Thank you Pete Johns. I recently got the 2i2 Focusrite. Do you know what type of usb the 3rd gen. uses? I’ll be getting a MacPro laptop and it doesn’t have any “regular “ usb. Maybe you will do a video what type of usb hub the new MacBook Pro requires? Thank you once more!

I may have unique problem with a new ipad pro that has the new usb-c connector. My old ipad with the lightning port works fine connected to an irig usb interface (using a powered 4 port usb hub). I keep getting "accessory not supported.." error on the new ipad pro (usb-c to lightning connector). Everything is the same on both ipads except for the usb-c connector. I am using all apple products. Have you seen this with the new usb-c connector?

I’m a soloist traveling around the world performing Busking at festivals, etc. my iPad only last for 4 1/2 hours, I have to have two iPads because I can’t seem to power the iPad while using irg ..

How can I power my iPad using irg multimedia’s HD irg-2 usb-c to iPad which is usb-C out … I’m running bias Fx.

I don’t want to use irig power bridge it has no usb-c port connection

Hi Pete, great content in your videos! Learning heaps from you. I know this video is older so you may not monitor it, but I recently tried to plug in wired headphones though a similar usb-c adapter for iPad Pro and it deactivates the built in mic for the iPad so I can’t use it to overdub in GarageBand using that method. Have you encountered this as well?

Hey man, the Behringer U-Phoria UMC204HD can’t work with my iPad through a powered hub. Works fine on a computer. But anytime I use the method in this video my iPad Pro (2020) will freeze and eventually force restart. But when I connect the interface to the iPad directly it works fine. But I need it to go through the hub cos I also have to connect both my keyboard and interface to the iPad.
