Sumeria Archaeology Site, 17 Km Southeast Nasiriyah City, South Iraq, UR is the capital of the Sumerian Nation, and the name of this city, associated with the name, Prophet Abraham, who was born there in the period, which was believed to be between 2000 and 1700 before AD.
The city is famous for its Ziggurat, the temple of Gods in Sumeria mythology, and is built in stages, the Ziggurat of Several layers the most important of this area, is Ziggurat UR, in the Northwestern part of the sea, from the Ma'abed.
