This is a really long segment, but I think it stands out as a central thesis of the entire course. Also, the illuminati is real.

"I'll tell you the second story i dont have the energy for the first one" the 2nd story is beautiful, well articulated and explains human nature. Like damn what's the first the first story?!

"When threatened by malevolence, even to the point of damage to your consciousness, you go down into the chaos and find the dead spirit of your tradition and you give it VISION!"... awesome ! :)

I wonder if even half these kids realized how lucky they were to have him as a teacher firsthand

"Keep your eyes open... pay attention"
Biggest thing to take away from this

His statement at the end, "its good to tell the stories, but people need to understand them" is Jordan Petersons gift.

JBP never fails to amaze me. He has a deep, profound mind, and his ability to extract essence from these old stories is simply incredible. I feel such anger toward the people who have attacked him, endlessly, these last few years. This is not a bad man - this is a man doing hims level best to impart wisdom to the world - to help make the world a better place. He deserves a place of honor amongst us. His critics don't hold a candle to him. Given his recent experiences this particular story seems particularly relevant. They kept after him until they managed to tear out an eye. But I think this is a man that you don't keep down. I look forward to him feeling able to step away from the ugly battles of these last few years - he has so much to give us just doing what he does here in this video - interpreting our cultural heritage and helping us see what it's really trying to tell us.

Good luck, JBP - you are a personal hero of mine. Thank you for everything.
