This film highlights benefits to recipients with regards to being able to focus on their studies, the fact that they can network, attend lectures and other activities which helps them achieve good grades as well as being able to achieve their career ambitions.

From an industry viewpoint, providing scholarships assists with ongoing recruitment, being able to train students into their way of working, and it provides a pipeline of homegrown talent for their organisations.

It also encourages greater diversity and inclusiveness within the work place which helps to build new ideas and approaches to problem solving.

Three winners will each receive a Charles Belling Diamond Jubilee Scholarship worth £3,000 per annum (up to a maximum of four years).

Ten winners will each receive an IET Great Exhibition Scholarship by the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 worth £1,500 per annum (up to a maximum of four years).

Approximately 25 winners will each received a IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarship worth £1,000 per annum (up to a maximum of four years).
