I have traced my family back to the father of William the Conquer. William's father is my 33x Great Grandfather and his sister is my 32 x Great Grandmother. (on my mother's side)

If you’re serious about finding your family tree, don’t start with that book. Start with yourself and your current generations and work back. Not only will it be more accurate, you’ll discover much more than the names and dates.

I live in Sweden and the earlies known ancestors I've found in the church books was born around 1664, died 1744 in Gärdserum. Her name is Brita Gyllenbreider and she is 11 generations above me.
There are 3 "known" generations above her and her husband, born in the 1500s, however I haven't been able to verify them in the church books.
I wouldn't consider anything 1000 years back as "facts". In addition, everyone of European descent has to be related within the latest 1000 years. Anything else is unlikely.

Dude I just looked into and my 13x Grandma is Mary Boleyn sister of the queen of England, her grandma is also grandma to Queen Elizabeth I as well as having Lady Maraget Butler as her Great grandma, she has been said to haunt Kilkenny Castle in Ireland where she grew up to this day. Also Mary Boleyns Grandaughter who I am kin to has famous portraits drawn of her Lady Dorothy Percy Countess of Sunderland

I've managed to trace my Swedish roots back to the early 1500's due to finding a distant relative with the relevant documents on ancestry

From my polish side I could trace my family tree to some well documented families, one which by mother side, the founder is descendant to the Rurikid dynasty. A quite distant viking connection too. Up to around 1000 AC I'm 99% sure of the accuracy, before is a bit more difficult to know, but two of the families are said to have originated from this guy and before him much is historical records.
