Free Pattern Friday - Bubbles part 8 - Making the last of 3 quilts

Today, we are going to show you how to make a great scrap buster for beginners called Bubbles - part 8 - Making the last of 3 quilts. You can make this idea with coffee filters from the dollar store and it uses a lot of fabric strings. You can also use crumb blocks if you wish. I'll show you in the next videos what you can do with these fun blocks!

I adore the name, "Black & Blue and Clammy All Over"! That's sew my sense of humor - LOL! Such a neat technique and it would make such a wonderful quilt for picnics, ball games, outdoor concerts, etc! Just a sweet rumpus room idea for when you've got a slew of kids over for a slumber party. No worries about how it gets treated as it's sew fixable, if necessary.

What a clever quilt this became! I don't enjoy curve sewing so I've sat most of this series out and concentrated on getting Christmas sewing finished. But one of my '23 goals is to get a potato chip quilt going and also to do something with the string blocks I started a few years ago but fizzled out on. Seeing all the quilts in the Facebook group has been so inspiring! Happy New Year!

What an incredible way to use scraps! Thank you! I have lots of scraps and keep them in a box until it is full; then I start piecing. If there are larger pieces, I use them for other quilting projects, like for the two tumbler quilts that I have on the back burner. I love the last quilt especially; thank you for the inspiration!
