After a month of coding, prototyping, and crying... my first smart device is complete!

If you want to make your own, good luck 😉 I wasn't prepared for the mountain of work that is using OAuth 2.0 to Access Google APIs, but it has been so rewarding having stuck with the project and having my first fully functional smart device.
I'd start off looking at Michal Klements Public API Sub Counter project:
For my Private API dashboard, I used python to pull data from the following sources
I'm hoping to share my OAuth 2.0 for TV and Limited-Input Device Applications login script after a tidy-up and optimise, but it'll probably need its own video to explain how to set up an application through the Google Developers Console so the request can be processed.
