Exactly! I was married for fourteen years to a guy who used to refer to our home as his house, his dog I wasn’t allowed to walk ...he was also physically and verbally abusive.. his initial behaviour early in the relationship just used to baffle me..which I’ve now learnt is a HUGE red flag! (He didn’t look like a stereotypical bad guy..) He really was a jerk.
