NASA | The Future of Fires

Показать описание
With climate change, certain areas of the United States, like the great Plains and Upper Midwest, will be at a greater risk of burning by the end of the 21st-century. Areas
like the Mountain West that are prone to burning now will see even more fires than they do today.

Solution: Plant more trees. A TON more trees. Sounds hippy-ish at first but evaporation from tree-leaves brings rain. That's why a rain-forest turns into a desert when you clear-cut it. Also trees breath CO2, taking it out of the atmosphere and turning it into organic matter which falls to the ground to decompose to build soil beneath trees to help them grow even better. It's pretty basic stuff.

It also showed what places within the US are forcasted to become hot zones through out the 21st century. that's the point.

If forest fires release so much CO2, wouldn't that decrease the likelihood of extra fires (fire needs O2 to burn).

newsflash NASA. When my valley is covered with smoke, it is cooler cuz the sun dont shine so hot on my ignorant head. I don't like the music, NASA man. Is that designed to make me bounce my head against the wall or is that my BS meter going off?
Can you guys take a picture of all the smoke your blowing up my asteroid?
Thank you for allowing me to share my feelings on your awesome NASA site..

Allah There is no god but He, The Living, the Everlasting, Slumber seizes Him not, neither sleep, To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who is there that can intercede with His, except by His leave? He knows what lies before them and what is after them, And they comprehend not anything of His Knowledge save as He wills. His throne comprises the heavens and the earth, The preserving of them fatigues Him not, And He is the All-High, All-Glorious. [Al-Quran: al-Baqa
