Getting a Breast Cancer Diagnosis

This video will take you through my timeline of finding a lump in my breast, getting the diagnosis of metastatic triple negative breast cancer, and up to when I had my first chemotherapy treatment. I’ll describe the process, show you some of the information I received, and talk a bit about my thoughts as I learned that I had cancer.

My name is Michelle and I have been on a carnivore/ketovore diet since October 24, 2022 (Eleven Months). In that time I have healed many long-term health issues, including chronic joint and muscle pain, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, GI issues including diverticulitis and IBS, GERD (cut Rx meds in half twice), brain fog, I have lost 20+ lbs and changed my body composition, and I feel better than I’ve felt since my 20s (I’m 48 now)! Because of this way of eating, I have the strength and energy to fight Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer! I am fighting with conventional and alternative therapies. I started this channel to document my journey fighting cancer, eating a carnivore (sometimes ketovore) diet, and spiritual awakening.

I have never seen anyone post about their surgery center/hospital giving them such a thorough notebook. Thank you for sharing.

Love how calm and factual you are. Your review of the steps you went through brought back memories from my episode of breast cancer 5 yrs ago. I hope you are doing well!

I had exactly the same protocol- chemo surgery radiation - my tumour was 7.5cm yeah 7.5 … after chemo there was no sign of it but they advised a mastectomy so I went along with it then 5vweeks radiation. This was in 2008 yes 14-years ago - I never went for a single follow up scan. I just didn’t want to and I always felt fine anyways. Best of luck to you!❤ and it was triple negative ❤

Thank you for sharing. I’m undergoing a double mastectomy on 2/27. My cancer is stage 1, 7mm. I will be having reconstructive surgery. Of course the final pathology could indicate something different. We will see. I too am accepting that this is part of my story and hope that I can help/encourage someone else at some point. Wishing you a full recovery.

Hi Michelle! Great video… TNBC is it’s own sub category of breast cancer. I’ll be 2 years remission on Oct 27th. I have scans every 6 months and so far all clear!🥳
I don’t know about u but the mental side of cancer hit me harder than treatment. Dr’s don’t really talk about the anxiety/depression that can come with a cancer journey. I still find myself anxious with every cough or headache but therapy has taught me how to manage not freaking out.😂
You r providing a wonderful resource by sharing your story. Love and best wishes!💪🏻🩷

That notebook is amazing I live in Scotland and never got any information like that. You have explained everything so well. I didn’t even know the grade until after my masectomy when I asked. I got chemo first , no immunotherapy as I was diagnosed in August 21 … I was TNBC…I wasn’t offered a double mastectomy only a single.I should have asked more questions at my first appointment. Wishing you well as you go through your treatment xxx🙏❤️

Good luck in your journey. I have had cancer twice to watch a different cancer one and each long but luckily it hasn’t spread as of yet the right long I think it’ll be five years this year so that’s good and the left lung. I am six months into remission, but there are still seven cells in there.

So thankful for your openness sharing your story. How are you doing now.
I hate THE MRI mammogram. Too painful to lean against that bar with my full weight against it hurts too much for 55 minutes.

Thanks for sharing your journey. What home remedies did you use to. ease the pain, itchiness, just to soothe in general. Would appreciate your suggestions

The good news, if there is such a thing, is that it is not considered metastatic as long as it is local(meaning breast, lymph nodes involvement but not found in another organ). It is stage lll but curable. Metastatic is treatable but not curable. There are plenty of women stage lll TNBC who had been cured. Best wishes!❤

I’m shocked that they told you cure, triple negative is very aggressive, not trying to be a downer but that’s always the hope but using that term is not a regular thing for type and stage, but you are doing a lot of positive things to ensure that happens, after 5 years your chances are much better . Good luck!

May i ask if you are in the USA or Canada. Your medical info reads identical to mine except that I also have Celiac. Can you recommend a hospital? I live in Canada and am looking at options. Thank you for sharing your story. I appreciate you sharing your story to help us. ❤️ Thank you.
