The U-28 story is interesting, she sank 40 ships in only 5 sorties, quite a number. Something to consider is that on such a U boat, most of the crew would be inside the ship, only a select few would actually be able to see what was going on outside from the bridge, the report comes from the captain, Freiherr (so not just a captain, also a nobleman) Georg-Günther von Forstner, alongside him there would only be room for a few others, probably officers. So it wasn't just some sailor who reported this, and it wasn't "mass hysteria" among the crew. Then again, it could have been an unfortunate whale who happend to be nearby and got blown up along with the ship, or an already dead and decaying whale that got blown out of the water. Dead whales have often been mistaken for other creatures.

"Storsjön" (which literally translates to "the big lake") is pronounced more like "stoor shuhn", and the monster is pronounced more like "stoor shuh oyuurett"

orang pendek and ahool is not an animal or humanoid, more like local people's indonesian stories about supernatural beings.that's why there is no photo evidence of them
