I just remembered this song. Like mid writing, I was like "Wasn't there a song named cold?"
I have so many dorky memories attached to it, but this song most certainly fed into younger me's story writing addiction.
Feels good to find it again, ever so slightly reimagined making it even better.

Reminds me of my first winter I went after losing my best friend. That cold sad empty feeling. I was in denial and would wait for him at his bus spot. I made a chair out of snow and ice and sat in it while I waited. I would sit in that chair so long I melted it to the grass with my warmth. Only to leave and come back tomorrow to repair it and do it all over again. Silently crying waiting for something that would not happen. Not able to accept what happened on October 13th. It has been 6 years since then and I'm doing better. I'm not perfect but I'm healing atleast. Have a good one
